Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to common questions about our hosting and domain services.
What is web hosting?
Web hosting is the service that stores your website files and makes them available on the internet. When someone visits your domain, the hosting server delivers your pages to their browser.
What is the difference between shared, WordPress, VPS and dedicated hosting?
Shared hosting places many sites on one server and is the most affordable option for small and medium sites. WordPress hosting is tuned specifically for WordPress with caching and auto-updates. A VPS gives you a dedicated slice of a server with full root access. A dedicated server gives you an entire physical machine for maximum performance.
Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
Yes. All hosting plans (shared, WordPress, reseller, VPS and dedicated) come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Domain registrations and transfers are non-refundable once processed.
How long does it take to activate my hosting?
After your payment is confirmed, your order enters provisioning. Most services are activated within minutes to a few hours. You will receive an email and see login details in your client area as soon as it is ready.
Can I transfer my existing website?
Yes. Open a support ticket after ordering and our team will migrate your website free of charge for shared, WordPress and reseller plans.
How do I register or transfer a domain?
Use our domain search to check availability and add the domain to your cart. To transfer, unlock your domain at your current registrar, request the EPP code and enter it when adding the transfer. Registrations are processed after payment.
Is WHOIS privacy included?
Yes. WHOIS privacy protection is included free with every domain where the extension supports it.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express, as well as other methods Stripe enables for your country (such as Apple Pay and Google Pay).
How does renewal billing work?
About 14 days before a service expires we issue a renewal invoice at the same price as your current term. You can pay it from your client area at any time. Domains renew at the standard renewal price listed on our pricing page.
Do you provide SSL certificates?
Yes. Free SSL certificates are included on all shared, WordPress and reseller plans and are installed automatically.
How do I contact support?
